Fanad U11s have once again won the basketball county final at the Donegal Community Games with an exceptional display in the U11 Mixed final in Ballyshannon.
Friday’s match against Ballyshannon was a close encounter, with both teams giving their all on the court.
The Fanad management team, Laura Kerr and Siobhan Mc Gee, were thrilled with their team’s performance.
Ballyshannon’s management, Maura Gallagher and Grainne Mc Guinness, acknowledged their team’s hard work in reaching the finals but admitted it wasn’t their day. They congratulated the Fanad team and wished them well at the Ulster Finals.
A word of thanks has been extended from the Community Games to Ballyshannon for hosting the County Finals.
