Young Donegal jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle is to race in Australia for much of this winter.
The Letterkenny man enjoyed his best tally to date in Ireland with 56 winners already this flat season.
Crowned Champion Apprentice last year with 48 winners, the Donegal rider has ridden eight winners at stakes level this season – each for his employer Joseph O’Brien for whom he won the Group 1 National Stakes in 2022 on Al Riffa.
According to www.irishracing.com, the rider reports “I’m going to Ciaron Maher’s in Melbourne for a few months, so it’s something to look forward to and it will be a good experience. I’ve never been in Australia before so it’s something to look forward to.”
