Over the last number of years, #BuyDonegal has showcased more than 300 businesses to a global audience of 13.9 million across more than 70 countries on social media.

#BuyDonegal 2023 was officially launched by Cllr Martin Harley, Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, who said that “BuyDonegal serves as a platform for businesses to amplify their presence and reach, enabling them to connect with a wider customer base. By participating in this initiative, businesses can leverage the collective strength of the #BuyDonegal Brand, gaining increased visibility and recognition”.

The #BuyDonegal launch featured an array of engaging activities and informative talks, providing attendees with valuable insights and inspiration. The role of Master of Ceremonies was expertly fulfilled by Sally Murphy, renowned for her exceptional storytelling skills at Welltold.ie.

Among the distinguished speakers were Emma Boylan, the visionary mind behind Outside the Box, who shared her expertise on innovative business strategies. Steven Perry, a representative of the Donegal Local Enterprise Office presented valuable insights and resources available to local entrepreneurs.
