Coughlan in running to become new Donegal GAA Chair

The former Tánaiste, Mary Coughlan, has been nominated for the position of Chairperson of the Donegal GAA County Board.

She will contest the position at next month’s Convention along with her St Naul’s clubmate Cieran Kelly as well as Four Masters delegate, Sean Dunnion.

Other high profile nominees include 1992 All-Ireland winner, Martin McHugh, who will run for the position of Delegate to National Congress.

Fiona Shiels (PRO) and Ed Byrne (Assistant Secretary) will not be continuing in their roles in 2024. The Convention will take place on December 13
