Donegal minors eventually turn on style to beat Fermanagh in league opener

Donegal minors overcame the challenge of Fermanagh in their Ulster Minor League opener at MacCumhaill Park last night.

Barry Ward’s side eventually ran out 2-9 to 0-5 winners after a slow start.

Both siders were cautious and opted for long periods of defensive football but Donegal eventually found their scoring boots.

Conor McCahill with four points and Alex Cunnea with a goal and a point were top scorers for Donegal.
