The Ireland team enjoyed a remarkable tournament overall with a haul of 16 medals, 4 Gold, 6 Silver, and 6 Bronze with 5 of these going to one club Castle K1 Kickboxing in Castlederg.

Fighters went toe to toe with the best in the world, with teams from all around the world travelling from as far as Jamaica, USA, Australia, Ukraine, China, Malta, Armenia, England, Romania, to name just a few. In total over 36 international countries with 1000s of fighters all arrived to see who would be crowned World Champion.

The entire Ireland team went over with hopes and dreams but to come back with such results is just unthinkable, every single Ireland fighter left nothing in the ring or cage, gave 100% and did themselves proud and some have the stitches and bruises to prove it.
