On Sunday last Finn Valley hosted the Ulster u9 – u13 Track and Field Championships and it was a brilliant day for the Rosses AC club.
Over 60 juvenile athletes made the journey from the Rosses, coming away with 20+ individual medals and multiple relay and teams medals. Big thanks to all who travelled, especially the parents and coaches who helped out. The juveniles showed they are winning against the best in Ulster and now look forward to the All Irelands in a few weeks.
On Friday last Caoimhe McGonagle and Aileen Logue made the journey to Tullamore to take part in the All Ireland Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships.
