Donegal player Shane Blaney did his hopes no harm when he helped Scottish Premiership side Motehrwell to a draw against St Johnstone last night.
The Letterkenny man joined the club last January from Sligo Rovers after impressing with the Bit ‘O Red.
The 24-year-old is still finding his feet in Scotland but was named in Stuart Kettlewell’s starting line-up last night.
St Johnstone looked like they were cruising after going 2-0 up but a 68th minute strike by the Donegal man sparked the Motherwell revival as they eventualy snatched a 2-2 draw.
Blaney, who put in a solid overall performance, will be hoping for more starts.
