The Inishowen Gate Hotel in Buncrana is one of the leading hotels in the North-West.

The hotel now has vacancies for both an accountant and also a holistic therapist.

Holistic Therapist

We are seeking applicants for Spa Therapists who are driven to excel in the Spa & Wellness Industry.

Seagrass Wellbeing Centre is focused on providing unique and skilled treatments to guests that centre around wellbeing.

Tasks, duties and responsibilities:

●  Deliver our Seagrass Wellbeing Centre menu to the highest standard for every client.

●  Ensuring accurate, knowledgeable and thorough advice is provided to all guests and promote available treatments and products.

●  Dealing with all aspects of customer contact, i.e. meet and greet, spa etiquette in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring accuracy & attention to detail at all times.

●  Monitoring all areas of the Spa Facility ensuring that it is safe, well maintained and hygienic at all times.

●  Manage the booking system.

Requirements

●  Minimum of level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy and be able to provide a high level of service skill and experience.

●  Have previous Spa / Beauty experience.

●  Have a friendly & outgoing personality.

●  Be enthusiastic & flexible.

●  Have excellent communication skills.

●  Have strong attention to detail.

Hotel Accountant

The Hotel Accountant is responsible for all hotel accounting; both management and financial. We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication, organisational, analytical and management skills.

This job description is not intended as an exhaustive list, and you will be expected to comply with any reasonable requests as directed by management.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Tasks, duties and responsibilities

●  Preparation of weekly & monthly financial reports.

●  Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance role.

●  Produce final accounts and prepare audit files.

●  Assist in Budget Preparation and Reviews.

●  Ensure all statutory/Revenue returns are processed and up to date.

Requirements:

●  Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or IATI Qualified.

●  The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 2-3 years experience.

●  Proficiency with Sage.

●  Strong excel skills.

●  The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality, food & beverage environment or within the retail sector.

●  Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
