Finn Harps boss Darren Murphy says he knows exactly how difficult things are going to be against Cobh Ramblers tonight.
Harps sit second in the league after three games with two wins and a draw.
But they know that momentum must remain in place as Cobh make the journey to Finn Park for tonight’s kick-off at 7.45pm.
Straight-talking Murphy is under no illusions that nothing but a full-on performance from his side will keep that momentum in place.
He said “It’ll be a difficult one, we had some very, very difficult games against Cobh last year- the two away games down there were over at half time as it was damage limitation.
“One of the games here we were leading 2-0 and were brought back to 2-2 and were very lucky to get away with a point so we know this will be tough- we know that and we will make the players aware of that.
“From my point of view I hope the players can give a good account of themselves and leave everything out there like they have done in the previous three games of the season.
“It has been a very pleasing start here at Finn Park this season with a draw and a win, and it’s magnificent to have the support that we have at present.”
Aaron McLaughlin, Ryan Rainey and Kevin Jordan remain injured while Conor Tourish is also a doubt.
